Opening a project from v1.14 doesn't allow setting any automation (gives odd characters then eventually locks up). Is there a way to get an older project updated/imported so it can take advantage of the new features? I tried a save as but that didn't seem to help.

Still no sample preview, correct. Probably for the next release. 
At some point i had to decide what to do now and what next, else it would take forever until the next release. The sample part will be a bigger one (it’s not only preview) and takes longer to implement.

I updated to RC3 where the automation should be initialized well now when loading an old project.
Please try again to load your 1.14 project (not the new saved one). I couldn't try it out myself right now (no non working 1.14 project file), but i think it should be fixed.

I updated to RC3 where the automation should be initialized well now when loading an old project.
Please try again to load your 1.14 project (not the new saved one). I couldn't try it out myself right now (no non working 1.14 project file), but i think it should be fixed.

Just gave RC3 a quick try and automators on the 1.14 project are now working well. Thanks!

The LFO are continious but you can change every parameter from the sequencer including start/stop/reset.

are the LFOs continuous or can we define a start/stop or length?

You can start, stop, reset they and more 
Place and lfo in the first automation slot number 0 
Go in any pattern 
Go to FX 
Find Automator 0 (ASL0)
Place cursor over 000
In the information row you will see:
Automator 0 } start 
Place parameter 001 to start your lfo here
Place parameter 000 to stop it
Place parameter 101 to reset it and keep it synch over patterns


From 000 to 099 it’s start 
From 100 to 199 it’s reset 
And so on over all Lfo parameters
So if you want at same time reset your lfo place: Automator 0 101 in same step you placed 001 but in the FX2 

So you can change speed, phase and all
