Release Candidate Firmware V1.21 RC4
#51
RC4: And this will be the final one, all functions i wanted to add are in here. I really encourage you to test it as i am planning to do the release next week. (CV16 cough cough)

- added clone to local CV tracks when played or recorded live from Midi
- enhanced trigger delay time to up to 10 milliseconds (CV/Gate track->Setup)
- Autogate timing for the off time between notes is enhanced to 500uS which should retrigger most envelopes
- Added waveform SYNC. The waveforms in one sample track can sync each other. Turn on with the FX command 'backward' which normally plays a sample backwards. The wave which is 'backwards' is getting synced by the other wave. Also both can sync each other!!
- and the last bits for the CV16 expander

I'm really curious about the waveforms: are they sample based single cycles or are they being generated somewhere internally within the software and then output via sample 7/8 ?

All are the 1 cycle samples i also use for the automators. Noise gets additionally some extra noise from the hardware random generator.
Only the square is generated on the fly.

And now stop being curious and test the RC4 so i can release it soon ;-)

Oh Daaaaamnn the triggers are so *damn* on point now! Everything is tight and consistent as hell, even at higher tempi, with just autogate for triggers—no tricks required! Really, REALLY good job on that Mr. XOR! my more triggers expander just arrived so after i finish playing with it, i'll check out the other updates. Once again, THANKS!!

Wow! Hardsync! Nice!
So that's why the "Backward" FX command wasn't doing anything in RC1~RC3! Smile

I am sorry to say that I can't check these new features out until wednesday, because I'm forced by "Boris Scorpio" to attend carnaval, and will be force fed beer and Schrobbeler and forced to listen to "Real-Music" Wink... But I might check it out in the morning. I can't leave until the postman has dropped of my new Megadrive-controller anyway.  Big Grin

Really love the new features! Can't wait to see how the cv16 (or x2 of them) integrates with it!

If all goes well then you can see already tomorrow! I'm right now working on the manual so it is finished tomorrow for the CV16 release ;-)

Also some other cool stuff in this firmware beside what you know already.
