I just got my video expander. Tried 3 keyboards (2 wired from the same brand, 1 2.4 Ghz wireless from another brand) and none of them work

Also tried putting a powered USB hub between them, but same.
Can anyone suggest some confirmed working keyboards, preferably mechanical?

Most keyboards should work directly without a hub. And I know about some cherry keyboards which only work with a hub.
Maybe you got an issue with the USB connection rather than that the keyboards are not working?
Did you connect both cables, the NSA cable and the Midi cable? Can you save the video expander settings without getting a fail? ( Because that would at least confirm the cable to the midi port working well ).
If that works and if possible then try other keyboards (best is to start up with the NerdSEQ. Hot plugging keyboards after one failed is not working).
Else, contact me directly and we'll figure it out.
I think I was able to save settings - got the "settings saved" notification, no errors, but I double checked the cables and one of the MIDI cables was loose. Probably got loose when I was putting the modules back in. Sorry about that, total PEBKAC error. All works now. Thanks for the prompt reply

...otherwise known as Level 8 error or (bordering on being rude) an "ID 10 T" error
