Hi,
I've searched and found similar questions but not exactly the same so hope it is okay to start a new thread.
I am playing a mono synth voice from a midi keyboard via Nerdseq. All is working perfectly except for one thing...
If I play a note and hold it down, then play another note, the 2nd note plays. But if I let go of the 2nd note the pitch does not go back down to the pitch of the held note as expected.
Its not exactly note priority I know, more how held notes are handled. This is useful to create fast and smooth trills when playing melodies.
I've compared the behaviour to other standalone monosynths to ensure I'm not mad
Setup:
I have a midi keyboard connected to the nerdseq set up to 'Track 1 Record' from midi channel 1.
CV1 goes to pitch and mod1 outputs an envelope controlling the VCA. Mod1 source set to Gate 1.
Let me know if there is something I'm missing!
