Release by Christmas hopefully maybe?
Hi, I have 2 questions on the upcoming expander:

- will there be a pin header in expanders pack for midi and i2c so I could connect via bus cables (e.g. to disting ex)?

- will there be a chance to connect more than one module via i2c (thinking of connect disting ex and a fader module)?

Thx for feedback in advance.

Not for Midi, yes for I2C

Yes, how many things do you want to connect?

Great that there''m be an I2C header.

At least I want to connect a Disting Ex and Tesseracts Sw16 for CV to I2C.

By the way, while knowing that recording into MOD means a step based recording and not a seamless one,
would it be an idea to implement a smoothing festure that manipulates the to be expected CV amount in the middle and sending that out or is there a technical limitation to do so? (only as an idea to optimize the sound usage of cv fader curves ?)

P.S. a kind of gliding up and down depending of the next cv value

What about up to 4 sweet 16 and 2 distings and a er301 or so all together?

Prefetching the next pitch it actually not that easy and in some cases not possible. One example would be the end or break of a pattern where you never know which the next one is. Pattern order another tricky situation.
Great bews on the i2c ... That is super news ???

And ithx for the explanation on the mod issue. So I have to think about something;-)
Congratulations on the release Thomas!
Hi,

can't await the new expander ;-). I read through the preliminary manual and while doing so. I asked myself, if it might be possible to sent triggers to a trigger expander eventhough it might not be assigned to a track. That could overcome partly the limitation of 8 tracks with existing outputs.
Hope this questions not too silly ;-)

I would say then keep on reading ;-)
Is the encoder on the new expander dented or smooth turning?
