Full Version: How to select bipolar mode for pitch CV

Hello nerdseq people.

I'm new to the nerdseq (but very much in love, thanks to my upbringing with Amiga computers and trying to build music with 4 channel .mod trackers)

My questions is, how do I configure a nerdseq modular track to output -5 to +5 v/oct voltages for pitch cv?  I've been through the v1.27 manual and every menu I could find and haven't had any luck yet.  (the manual and website all say you can have either 0-10 or -5-5)  Everything outputs 0-10v for v/oct by default on my v1.27 module.  I'm working around it at the moment by patching the output into a cascading attenuverter with a -5v offset, but it's not ideal.  If I could adjust each track to choose between 0-10v/oct and -5-5v/oct that would be awesome - I have oscillators that expect both for pitch.
You can set all MOD or all CV outputs to either -5/+5V or 0-10V via the Offset switches. It is not possible to choose so for each track.

Oscillators that expect both....so wrong :-)
Try flipping the CV and/or Mod Offset switch to the left.
Got it, thanks! I have no idea how I missed that before. You know, the big and clearly labelled OFFSET on the front of the hardware… lol

This is super helpful, though I think I need to invest in a precision adder anyways.. my favourite qubit oscillator wants -5 to 5 v/Oct and just about everything else I use wants 0-10 v/Oct.
