I have a completed a eurorack box for performance ..finally. Thanks to the new beautiful multi IO expander.

6u 90hp Bluebox from Blackhole cases.

The box idea is rather simple:
- Only i2c and midi devices to make sound. (more easily recallable)
- rainmaker for exotic fx
- all into a nice mixer; sound out of hi quality transformers
- Everything recorded at all times.

I have the more video expander module, panel off, mounted inside the box so I can use the keyboard (bluetooth). The only problem here is I can't use the HDMI, unless anyone might have some suggestions for me! I saw bluetooth hdmi adaptors exist, but none that don't require usb power each side.

I'll use this device as a band which I can play drums or piano to, or standalone/with other synths for ambiance at yoga classes, etc.

Frankly, it's a dream come true, and I'm glad I waited the long wait for the i2c expander. Thank you Thomas!

I hope you like.

Definitely like!!

Can you tell us your experience with the Just Friends? Multiple people ask for it (here and Facebook) but no answers so far.

Can't help you with the 'wireless' HDMI.
Hey Thomas. Yes just friends works very nicely in the format with the six voices. It’s like having a ready to go Polysynth. With the nerdseq it’s a little more like composing (for me) in the traditional sense than I imagine how people are using some of those monome devices. Unfortunately, I don’t have much to share at the moment. I’ll mention, Just friends and rainmaker is perfect pair.
I've got a little more time atm to play around with things so I've starting making just friends arrangements of pieces.

The nerdseq is great for the kind of music I like, very different from what I imagine writing music with a teletype is like. (which is also cool)

Here's an excerpt of Ravel pavane for a dead princess I typed into the Nseq:
