Live mode is working fine here - default LIVE mode Midi Channel is 1
Setting Programmer mode to Channel 1 is also working.
I have set Note mode to Channel 8 and I'm using that to record notes using the TRK SELECT REC
Not sure why you're insisting on Programmer mode as the only way to use LP Pro with Nerdseq?
Anyways would be great to get UP/Down buttons working inside the patterns ;-)
cheers b
All the other modes are specific to ableton and stuff.
Not sure what you mean with the UP/Down buttons.
LP Pro:
Button A and Button B
They both function in the LP Pro Sequencer view to move up and down Nerdseq sequencer screen but not in the LP Pro Pattern view. I find I have to set or unset a trigger or note to move around the Nerdseq pattern screen using the LP Pro.
Why should Ableton have all the fun!!
WE can use all this extra modes - please please ;-0
That was a very helpful hint
(LP in programmer mode)
I think I have it working, at least the basic functions. Now I need to get used to it (and memorize all the keys etc.) which will be a matter of time
I'm new here, I recently got a Nerdseq and picked up a cheap Launchpad Mini Mk3. Just letting you know:
The Launchpad works perfectly fine connected to an Expert Sleepers FH-2 used for MIDI forwarding between DIN (of the Nerdseq) and USB A (of the Launchpad). Maybe not the most obvious usage of the FH-2 but I'm happy it works :-)
Hi all, been waiting for an update on the Launchpad Mini MK3 and Nerdseq USB expander.
I’m wondering if the TUBBUTEC USB BRIDGE module will work with Nerdseq and Launchpad mini MK3? I have the 2hp version of the Nerdseq midi expander.

Can someone give me a hint?
Thanks

I would say ask tubbutec (maybe information on their forum?) if it supports the launchpads and if, then I don’t see a reason why it shouldn’t work with the knowledge I have now.
I can't seem to get it to send midi back to the Launchpad. So I can either use it and only have one way midi, or I'll have to route the midi through my audio interface & Ableton for 2 way midi.
Any idea when the USB expander & Launchpad Mini 3 support will be released?

As I see it now the new USB Midi Expander (called Multi-IO, since it does more than just Midi) won't be released before Q1 2022.
Hi there.
Just some additional information about the USB-Midi Interface (and so the Launchpad Mode).
I finally got my hands again on my Launchpad Mini MK3 and I can confirm that it does fully work with the upcoming USB-Midi Interface for the NerdSEQ.
What you should know is that I will release another Firmware before I continue with the USB-Midi Interface. So please stay tuned.
