I only have one nerdseq with the io expander. I don’t know how to use it well yet, but luckily you can just start using it without being an expert.
I dimly feel that two nerdseqs might be amazing, but i wonder how other people are using more than one nerdseq together?
When I started looking at the high-powered end of Eurorack sequencing, I figured I’d end up with a combo of Vector and Metron. Once I learned more about the NerdSEQ that changed to NerdSEQ and Metron.
I picked up the NerdSEQ during the summer and figured I’d add the Metron later. After getting to know the NerdSEQ, that plan changed to NerdSEQ and NerdSEQ.
I figured I’d add the second one next year, but then the Black Friday sale came and I simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add the second one now.
I’m only roughly a week into having both set up, and am still moving a few other things around in my case (hence not having posted up a picture yet, though that might change since the other delivery I’ve been waiting for seems to have gone into postal limbo :/ ) but I’ve at least worked out which NerdSEQ is running which expanders, taking responsibility for what duties, how the two are clocked (complete with some very successful tests of abrupt sequenced tempo changes,) etc.
I’m early into running two of them, the setup may well change, and I should probably stop rambling now anyway

, but if you have any questions about specifics, feel free to ask.

Hey bro, are you still running the pair? May I ask how you were able to get the tight syncing between the two, via midi or gates? Any sync issues or the like? Thx
