I just added the new 2HP Midi expander to the webshop. It has a Midi In, Out and a 3rd port which can be used either as thru or as additional out.
All ports use the TRS-A standard and adapter cables to 5pin Din Midi are delivered with the expander. Optional also a TRS-A <-> TRS-B adapter is also available so it works also directly with all TRS-B gear.

I know its totally out of style this season, but any chance you'll have them in aluminum?

Hehe, unfourtunately no. 2 reasons, first it would be very expensive to make aluminium frontpanels just for a few expanders (I expect only a few to have this but some really seem to need it and i want to keep it low cost).
2nd is, that I can't use aluminium panels because it would break the needed input isolation.
I guess i could make grey as well with PCB's but it might look cheap and ugly

I almost ordered two of these the day you announced their availability in the shop, but decided I should probably wait and submit one order later together with other new expanders, and also to allow myself to think more about this versus the forthcoming USB MIDI option.
Is there much risk of these being out of stock by the time of other new expanders?
