Hi,

I'm trying to set up step recording and this message is displaying at bottom of the record setup screen?

I think that refers to recording "cursor" movements. Step record should be working.

Not sure what you mean exactly by step recording.
One is live recording into the steps.
Another one is recording into the step the cursor is currently.

The latter belongs to the message you mention. The cursor step recording is not enabled then. The message is there because it needs multiple settings to enable it.

It definitely is! I’ve found it super useful for entering notes from a nearby keyboard, specific values from a custom control surface, etc. One hand on the NerdSEQ cursor keys, the other on the controller in question, and I’m off to the races.

Actually also something, you insert a note but you can remove also a note when holding the key for half a second.

Ok, getting a controller/keyboard then!

Any recommendations? I have an LX25 but it’s USB out only...
