And I see what you mean. Actually this is something I am aware of (now that I see it) but totally forgot to fix!
With the track assign, the current modulator settings suppose to be send to the CV Expander but I missed that when releasing the implementation and forgot about it then...
Will be for sure fixed in the next version. Thanks for the video explanation.

Hi there!

I have some probelms with my CV expander:
some tracks automatically switch to automators. I want notes there, but even if I delete all automators and place notes, automators come back.
It's probably a user error, but any advice is appreciated Smile

Do you mean when editing that it switches to modulators? 
It should insert the last used note when you were editing a note and increasing then on another spot.
Shift+OK will browse through the functions. 

Or do you mean something else?

So I mean:
I use a CV expander track.
I have nothing on that track. I insert notes (pitches). When I play the sequencer, the entire column is switched to automator (and the pitches do not play).

If I go to the column again and I delete the automator, it works temporarily (i.e. the automator behavior is indeed deleted) but when the sequencer runs, the entire column switches back to automator mode by itself (and I don't know why).

But did you stop the modulator? Once you started it you got to stop it, else it keeps running. You can see on top of the columns if a modulator is running (instead or with the notes you play).
Just deleting then from a ‘random’ position in the sequencer doesn’t stop these.

- Additionally:
Stopping all modulators (don't confuse them with automators) can be done either from the sequence or by pressing SHIFT+STOP when the sequencer is stopped.
Also, in the new coming version there is a setting where you can choose that the modulator stops automatically if a note is being played.

Modulators, indeed you are right, sorry for the confusion.

But yes, you understood my problem.

So I delete the modulators. I delete them all. Next I stop the sequencer. Next I do shift + stop. I see on the top of the column that they disappear.
There is nothing left in the column nor in the column header.
Than I input notes. I start the sequencer and the column switches to modulator by itself.

Can you provide me your project please. Are they any other FX which might start the modulators?
