Hi, my apologies for bringing up this feature yet again, I don't enjoy being the pesky one..
Anyhow, I am finally getting some time to use the new firmware and really appreciate this feature being added!
It works slightly differently than expected though. I was hoping that when the combo was used the cursor would follow to the new pattern.
In this way, while holding SHIFT+DOWN you could press OK as many times as needed to create larger pattern chains - this is where I feel combo really would become a time saver. Hopefully the example below illustrates what I am trying to achieve.
EXAMPLE:
Cursor is on pattern "01". While holding SHIFT+DOWN press OK 4 times. The cursor would move down to the new cloned pattern each time OK was pressed.
..now there would be a larger chain of 4 patterns that are all separate clones of the original "01", and the cursor would now be on the newest pattern "04":
01
02
03
(04)
In a live playing situation, it would sound like pattern one was repeating until going into one of the clones at a later time to change just a couple details
When doing the combo just once it would be convenient as well because you could immediately enter the new clone..... like simply doubling the length of a single pattern real quick.
