Actually its one of the best documented modules now because the original abstract manual has been supplemented by a very detailed technical map. You can find it here (https://github.com/whimsicalraps/Mannequ...friends.md) and also download a PDF.
If you need to explore the i2c capacity of JF (using something like Norns or Teletype) then there are many resources on this but you need to spend time exploring mostly the lllllll.co forum. Once Nerdseq i2c expander arrived then you can probably start implementing the i2c commands that are outlined in the Teletype manual https://monome.org/docs/teletype/manual.pdf.
All JF commands have been implemented already. I can't test it myself but it is reported to work.
Hi All,
I’ve just picked up a Monome Norns, the Crow Module. As well, Just Friends arrived today while I’m at work. I’ll probably mostly sequence JF via Norns scripts via Crow, but I also want to explore sequencing via Nerdseq/Multi-IO. Are any of you doing this, using Just Friends with Nerdseq, and also with the Crow in the chain? I need to figure out the connections & pull-up jumpers - can someone help with this? Can I have both Nerdseq and Crow as I2c leaders, it probably won’t be an issue if I don’t try to run them simultaneously, right?
Thanks!
