1. stupid me forgot that i was recording, went to recording setup and changed the recording target and ended up with a funky breakdown because it recorded a (the same) note into every track i passed by while going through the options
maybe you could just stop recording when entering the recording setup.
2. tried to record notes and triggers at once and it was somehow the same issue as with gate once. pressed the same note and it added triggers but didnt add notes as long as it was the same note. adding a different note somewhere led to the triggers below which i added for the first note played the second note value now.
3. adding triggers isnt easy. short impulses often arent recognised. it works better with notes/gates
4. recording gate alone just adds some noteoff events.
5. visibly trigger and notes often only appear after the cursor was moved or a different note value was recorded.
