Firmware V1.28 Test Version

Adding 16x FX for the 16 possible variables is not an option.

That's an excellent idea. If it takes too much time, maybe you could do a compromise as you did in Automator LFO value modification from FX ? (ASLX - Yzz). Only 2 octets for the value could be a good start for us!

Ah yes with the XMAP effect... I though about this one too, but I prefer using the FX3-4 probability as variables for now :')

Thanks a lot for your answer!

I'm not sure if I'm being stupid but I can't work out a way to send the envelopes triggered from a gate source to be sent to a cv 16 output. I have it working fine to the mod outputs but not the expander

Don’t do that. You could do it but it produces too much data and combined with other stuff it can be too
much. Use either the envelopes on the CV16 itself or the local CV/MOD outputs

is there a way to trigger the cv16 envelope from the gate on the normal track, i couldn't find a way

No, you usually fire the CV16 envelopes from a CV16 Track

Hey,

I'm trying to understand the calc sample and hold function. Am I right to see it as a quick way to set a temporary value, which we can call by line number from other places of the mapping matrix, which allow to spare a VAR?

Secondary question for Thomas, I know you're very busy so I don't want to bother you, but would you have an update on the 1.28 firmware? Will you release an other test version before the release? I'm very curious to know if the CV16 envelopes will be accessible from the modulation matrix, it would make my expander much more useful Smile

Sample & Hold uses one variable (or row) as an input value and another one to set/reset the hold.
So if the 2nd value is zero then the first value is passed through and if it is one then it keeps the last value.

I’m not planning another tryout version but going to release candidates soon (together with the hardware).
CV16 will be fully covered then!

i just found out that you can't use "swing" when clocked externally via midi..

will that be possible later? i'd be so sad if not..

That is correct. Swing only for the Internal Clock or if the external clock got swing itself.
