Random range with scales?

How does random range work with scales? If I set a random range, will only notes within the scale be triggered? Is it possible to use a different scale per pattern on the same track?

I’m trying to work around not having tables available on MIDI tracks which would also allow note selection.

If a scale is enabled then random values will play automatically within the selected scale.

You can change the scale on every step you like and so also for each pattern.
