Hello,
I am experiencing an issue where my Nerdseq hangs after performing a “Fast Save”. The save screen displays “save project succeeded” and the device freezes at that point. A power cycle is necessary to restore operation. I am running firmware v1.18 C. Please advise.

Hey, can you reproduce it with your file? You didn't remove the SD-card before you saved?
Can you maybe send me your project file so i can see whats going wrong?
I assume there is no issue with your sd-card.

Hello,
I tested this on two different project files with the same result. I did not remove the SD card prior to running the fast save routine. This only started to occur after the 1.18 update. I’m using the SD card that shipped with the module and it appears to be fine. I haven’t tried creating a new project and saving yet. I can also try a different SD card. I’ll report my test results.
Regards,
Isaac

Does it also happen when saving using 'save as'?
Can you send me the projectfile so i can test it myself. Here or via email if you don't want to share it.

I think that I found the cause. I am using a Sega game pad and the hang only occurs when I run a fast save using the controller. The issue does not occur when I save using the front panel controls. Something funky related to either the controller or the controller interface.

Now that I know the cause, I simply avoid using the controller when saving. I’ve been jamming out with the Nerdseq without problems since. Thank you Thomas!

Posting here to say it happened 1 time last night on a new project file. I'd be happy to provide if you like, however it hasn't happened again.
