Then you surely installed either an old version or you didn’t really update. Check in your download folder if you didn’t grab an older version. Will be fine.

Apologies - I was placing it in the root not in the 'firmware' subfolder.

Midi recording is fine in 1.20  and CV recording is good in 1.19 but not in the 1.20rc as far as I can see

I can live without it so no rush Thomas!!

Yes, I can confirm this. I can't seem to get CV recording working in 1.20 like it does in 1.19.

Did you set it to record in the record/input settings for one input and another for trigger/gate?

Here's how I set it up in Project settings 1st page: everything default (internal clock, edit mode on, etc.)
Input/Record Setup:
- Live Input=on
- Input 1 Record=CV1 note
- Input 2 Record=Gate 1 (or Trigger 1)

Then hit Shift+Record; input CVs & Gates into CV1 & 2. Clock steps through the pattern, but nothing is recorded.

Something else I should be doing?

That should indeed work. I assume the inputs are calibrated well?
I will try with my emergency box later on. That definitely worked, but it was weeks ago and i didn’t have the time to test it again. I think it’s one essential part of the release that have to work for the RC.

OK, forget about RC1. The CV recording was broken here (as i didn't have any time to test it again, so i didn't realize).

It is fixed in the new attached RC2.
Sorry for the trouble and enjoy!

Thanks! This is amazing!
I am experimenting with it now and i am a little bit confusing by Live Input functionality.
Especially, "quantize to CV, position X, position Y, Start , Stop, Sample Gate/Pitch/Offset/Slot" ones.
Could anyone please hint me at use cases for quantize to CV, positions, start and stop, and also were anyone able to get the Sample ones work? I can't seem to be able.
Thanks!

Live Inputs x and y cursor on separate cv inputs one can move the cursor remotely and use stop and start tracks - It makes me think of the etch a sketch ;-)

Re the sample ones -:
Empty pattern
Load some samples into the slots - run the pattern
Live on
Input 1 gate - put in a square LFO into CV in 1
Input 2 pitch - put a source voltage that you can vary into CV in 2
Input 3 Slot - put a source voltage that you can vary into CV in 3

With this setup I'm able to select different samples in the slots change the pitch and gate the samples. Anyways this should get you started and give you some ideas. :-)

I just discovered the sequencer does not need to be running to make the sample stuff work......this is so cool

Not to forget sample offset, so you can also do some slicing of the samples Smile
