Any tips on getting NerdSeq to record notes played on the Launchpad Pro? I can manipulate the sequencer/patterns no problem, but I can't figure out how to play/record into the sequencer.

Edit: Ok, I think I just figured it out already. Seems you can't yet record on a Launchpad channel, it has to be a normal channel set to say 'Track 1 Record'. Now I can play/record!

The LP pro got some kind of Note-Mode which spits out Midi notes. You route your Midi recording settings and choose the channel for the midi in the Launchpad. Then you can record as well (once i release the midi fix which will be in the begin of the week)

Will LP pro also support navigation inside the patterns - at the moment I can't move the cursor with LP Pro when I'm in pattern mode ?
I can select triggers but these are fixed at value 20 so wondering if gate and trigger values are planned.

Are you creating a separate thread/topic for LP Pro development?

I am not planning to make it a full editor, though i also think it would be very uncomfortable, pressing the LP buttons for navigation and looking onto the NerdSEQ screen.
How would you implement different gate/trigger selections? Good ideas always welcome.

I think you add a new thread in the General Questions or Everything else groups. I only plan the current implementation and some extras when i made the expander for it. But i definitely don't plan to make it a forthgoing project. I want to make it usable for live stuff and some extras, but there is no motivation to push it to the limits. The adience for it is not big enough and i got to develope more important stuff to keep the company rolling
The implementation that i have in my mind will satisfy 95% of the peoples i think.

No and any future updates also not. I wouldn't even know how you would want to fill in the filenames :-)

No filenames, just up/down navigation and OK would be fine...

Ah ok. That is def. no problem adding up/down and OK on the menu's.

Cool. But the key is the Project key. Then Down Down to get to Load, OK to bring up the Load menu, Down, Down... to get to the right file, OK to load it, and finally Shift+Start to launch it.

Hi, I installed 1.20 RC2 and loaded a save-file from an older version (1.16 I think).

In the Automate screen there are some un-allowed values for some automation destination slots (see screenshot) and when I try to adjust these values pretty soon I will get an error as shown.  The Nerdseq locks up completely and doesn't respond to any keypresses.

If I clear the slot with DELETE it goes back to -- and I can then adjust it within the legal range with no problems.

Some minor trouble...

For the manual CV IN callibration (awesome!):
When you are in the calibration, you go down with the selector up to CV input, it opens all the gates (1,2,3,4,5,6) in passing and some do not close the blow difficult to calibrate, you have to unplug everything.  Someone confirms?

Transposition:
If you calibrate your CV IN properly  the (live) transposition by CV of all tracks (except those that are disalowed) works perfectly.
But if you want to do the same thing via automations setting well it also works but the callibration of CV IN does not seem to be taken into account, there is always about 1/4 of offset tone. Someone confirms too?

I just added the page up/down buttons for the calibration screen. So you can jump directly between the sections without the unwanted gate opening when passing the trigger parts.

The CV input for the automation is not calibrated to any scale at all at the moment. It will only also get a range and offset selection in the future so one can finetune the input for the automators themselves. But not for this release.

OK, i just updated to Release Candidate 3 with the following changings/ additions:

*Update RC3 *
- added fine delay for triggers. (Track setup). Triggers, Retriggers and FE (Trigger on) (only from trigger column) can be a bit delayed compared to the CV value. (Please be aware that it is possible that projects already saved with V1.20 might have trigger values filled in. You might have to reset these to 0 manually!!! No issues with old projects, Values of 0 turn the delay off).
- added User Interface Screen in Setup!!!! Check it out yourself!!
- fixed aftertouch and program change recording and live playing for midi-in
- fixed sample setup screen so the transpose settings (Allow or disallow) for these work as well.
- A filled in trigger in the trigger column does always overrule a autogate of a filled in note now, even if the trigger doesn't trigger cause of probability settings.
- Added Page Up/Down buttons in the calibrate screen, so one can jump directly to the trigger or input settings without changing all the outputs.
- Fixed Midi-Recording where note off's could be written to the wrong track.
- Fixed pitchbend for Midi -> CV playing or recording

There are some things to fix for me so the CV recording is working properly again. That will be for the next Release Candidate.
