Midi Input Question
#1
Hello,

Here is my scenario....

I am triggering Bitbox Sampler with Nerdseq via MIDI.
-MIDI Data Input:ON
-MIDI Step Chnl.:OFF
-MIDI Channel 1: Track 1 Record
-MIDI Channel 2: Track 2 Record
-MIDI Channel 7: Track 7 Record

-Track Assign all set to MIDI Channel 1 (should I be able to assign to any channel?)

I am able to record channel 1 with no issues. When I switch my MIDI controller to channel 2, Nerdseq still sends MIDI out on Channel 1. Is there an option I am missing? When I check Track 2 Pattern Screen indicates "MIDI 1" (to the far right of screen). I am able to record on Track 7 with no issues. It is only Tracks 2-6 that I am having issues with.

Thank you,

Mike B

In the Input recording setup you decide the input Midi channel -> Track, so far so good.
In the Track (i assume a midi track aswell) you got to set the desired midi channel as well for output/sequencing channel. Standard for all tracks this is 1. Just change it to what you want. It routs the midi input channel then to the wanted output channel.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

Thank you! I did not realize there was another screen under Track Assign. Issue resolved!!!

Yes, the track setup.
Either under track assign. Or in the sequencer screen from the Nerd Menu.

Cheers!
