Clocking Nerdseq from Pams via Keystep

Hey all - just got the nerd seq and am clocking it from Pamela's New Workout via midi from the Pexp-1 expander - all good. I have an Arturia Keystep on the way to program notes in the Nerdseq. Has anyone been able to play notes into the NS AND send clock/sync from Pams via midi through on the Keystep?

I think the keystep doesn't send the clock through. I tried it once and depending on the settings there was always missing something.
