Still no sample preview, correct. Probably for the next release.
At some point i had to decide what to do now and what next, else it would take forever until the next release. The sample part will be a bigger one (it’s not only preview) and takes longer to implement.
Stay tuned.

Wink ....cool, thanks!

I am busy with the manual and it will be latest ready with the final release.
I think most functions are obvious when you know how to use the NerdSEQ, some need some try out without a manual but are also not too hard to use.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

I just added a draft of the new manual. It's a very first draft but it explains all new basic functions.

Hello everyone, my first post and newbie nerdseq user, I’m having some little issues with the sample section, i’m using it with some loops (breakbeats mostly) i’ve upgraded succesfully the unit to this firmware, and if I understand it correctly the offset sample should change the start point of the sample, but it does not, in my case is not changing anything,  am I doing something wrong here? If so, how can i change the sample start? One last thing, the nerdseq crashes more often with this new firmware when opening the sample load menu

Hey, yes the offset sample in the FX column changes the offset/position of the playing sample to another point.
How do you use it?

And, did the NerdSEQ crash before with the older versions when opening the sample load menu? I was not aware of this.
I wouldn't know why it should crash now, as i didn't change anything with the loading section. Please give me some detailed information what you do.

I just tested it and i think i see your issue. It doesn't affect the offset if the FX is set on the same line.
I will try to fix that, should be no problem. Setting the offset somewhere on a later row works well by the way.

thanks for the reply, i'll wait for the fix, thanks for the great job! about sample load, i can't really compare it with previous firmware, because i have this module since less than a week, but it gives me an error code that i will transcribe next time i'll turn on the sequencer, hopefully this evening.
again, thanks for everything! i really hope that the offset will be adjustable in the same step because i was a maniac tracker programmer with a note on everystep Tongue
