What about the LP X?

I haven't bought a LP yet, but if I need to choose I'd rather get the smaller version. So it should be the mini, but I want the velocity and pressure stuff available; just in case; for Ableton use. So here comes the LP X. Will the X work just like the mini with the new USB I/O expander.

I think some people here in the thread got the LPX running using regular mini currently. I didn’t test it as I don’t have one but I expect it to work also via USB

Hallo Guys. it seems the Launchpad pro MK3 will not work with the current implementation. I think the issue is that it defaults to the internal sequencer when not connected to Software via USB. I think it needs a handshake of some sort, and I hope the upcoming Expander can provide it. Bummer for the time Being. I mostly got the Launchpad to work with the nerdseq.

It does work.
I don’t know exactly but it is most probably also confirmed in this thread here. It is a setting in the Launchpad for sure.

Just unearthed the Manual... You can hold Setup and then Print to Clip to switch to the Programmer Mode.

I got to check that. I think I send the documented commands but I can't test this with the pro mk3 myself. I will see if I get a hand on one soon. ( I will not buy one...I own already 4 launchpads and I use exactly zero of them   )

I've dusted off my barely used launchpad mini Mk2. but when connected and configured both the nerdseq and the LP just glitch out erratically. I've read the manual and forums but i'm a bit puzzled and need some help. Midi Channel 1 set to Launch pad mini. nothing on midi channels 2-4. Midi routed to and fro via an iconnect MIO4. Nerdseq firmware 1.27C.

Are others using the same firmware successfully with their launch pad mini mk2?

The LP mini works as expected when connected to computer.

Any suggestions?

The last time I checked it it was working well here. The difference here is that I used the Retrokits rk005, maybe it is a setting in your midi controller?
I will give it a go this weekend and let you know.

The last time I checked it it was working well here. The difference here is that I used the Retrokits rk005, maybe it is a setting in your midi controller?

To my knowledge there aren't really any settings/modes on the LP mini mk2 other than device ID (set to 1) and low/full power which doesn't effect the issue.

I've gone through every page of the iConfig to make sure there are no unwanted midi routings/feedback.
