Expander Bridge module "nerdBridge"
#1
Just an idea I had. If you have more than one Eurorack case and you want nerdseq in one case but an expander NSA/midi etc in a different case this is not currently possible.

What about a module called nerdBridge that is simple a passive bridge using rj45 or some other format cable (hdmi?) to let you pass the NSA connection from back of nerdseq to another case?

The module would come in pairs so you could complete the connection to the expander in the other case.

Ribbon header to cable connector should be all that is required I guess.

I might actually build this Smile

It's really not needed. I have my NerdSEQ and NSA modules spread across 3 cases. I'm using slightly longer (about 50cm) normal 14 pin ribbon cables to connect them. Works w/o noticeable problems. No expander needed.

Kind regards,
Michael

PS: I leave 1hp free at the side of an NSA to have the cable go in and out.
