Tempo modification when set to EXT?

Is it possible to apply any kind of tempo modification or groove when set to EXT tempo? For example, I might have DAW @ 140bpm, then want to perhaps have FX apply random range tempo briefly before settling back to original bpm of 140.

There is no FX function for that, and even though if you would settle back, you would be out of sync of you not doing the same compensation the other way around. You could use the nudge function to go a bit ahead or behind, but that is not a BPM change.

And you can change the clock per track.
