[FIXED] Effects column not triggering consistently
#11
Ah I totally forgot retriggering was available from the dedicated trigger column!
I have it working and yes it is not an issue at all then.
Sorry to deviate from the main thread.
Thanks.

I have a similar question with respect to FX probability. specifically, on my modular track,  I have glide CV alternating between 000 and 009 on  FX 1 slot. on the FX 2 slot corresponding to the gilde CV 9, I have Probability of FX 1 to be 50%, the setting it back to 100% on a later step. The idea being i want the glide to be applied on the given note 50% of the time. what is actually happening is that the glide is being applied all the time.

Are the FX slots applied in order? I.e FX 1 executes, then 2, 3, 4 for a given row? I *think* that would explain what im seeing

I think Thomas wrote exactly that in another threat. AFAICT all things happen sequentially and FX is processed 1, 2 ,3, 4 (where applicable).

Kind regards,
Michael

Yes, there is a order with the FX execution 1 -> 4.
I would maybe set and keep the probability on the FX1 at 50%. And have then the Glide 009 and on another step the Glide 000. You got then a 50% chance that glide is activated and a 50% chanced that it's turned off again. Please be aware that it is average 50%. So it's not on/off/on/off. But it's statistically for 100 steps that 50 of these would be executed for sure and 50% would not be executed. And the order for that is random.
