Just a passing thought: the Intellijel Tetrapad, when coupled with its expander, has a nice feature for tuning oscillators - when enabled, all gates go high, and all pitch cv outs get set to c0.
I almost didn't suggest this as it seems simple enough to save a project with these settings, but it might still be useful in the middle of a project (when exiting and re-entering the project might be a hassle. Ideally, it also wouldn't demand the sequencer be running to generate the effect. Maybe tuck it away in the Nerd menu?

All of my pitches run through the Sinfonion, which also has a tuning mode, one nice feature of which is that it allows you to toggle through octaves so that you can tune each voice at its most appropriate pitch, check tracking, etc. Octave switching like that could be handy in a NerdSEQ take on this concept.
I’ve also seen, though I don’t recall in which module, a variation where gates are not opened just once but rather start being generated at regular intervals, so that it is more likely to work well with whatever envelopes, VCAs, filters, etc. you have hooked up.

I don't think just setting to C-0 and setting to high would be enough for tuning. Though it might be enough for a tetrapad but for regular oscillators it would be like tuning with 10th of hertz.
I usually have a set of patterns for a live set for tuning. Mostly playing C-3 or C-4 and a C-4 form the waveforms as reference. I play these then (with repeating gates, depending on the patch) and tune them. I place them also behind my live on the sequencer screen, so I don't touch them accidentally, but I know where they are.
So a tuning mode, I guess would not be something which covers most of the users but only for a few. And would also probably confuse others.

That’s for sure a great way to do it with existing features, Thomas.
Just to mention one distinction, though: the kind of tuning mode I was speaking of (and though I cannot speak for the original poster _ish) has the benefit of immediately overriding everything, so there’s no global or track transpose to deal with, no modulations of pitch, etc.
Not a huge deal, really, especially if tuning up at the start, but perhaps more interesting once things have been running for a while, modulations and FX are active, tables are running, etc.
