[FIXED] trigger 16 : automator probability for triggers not working
#1
HI there!

I'm not sure if this has always been broken (I didn't think so) but currently if I :

*Make a pattern for trigger16 using either drum-matrix or the other gate length section of the pattern

*Assign an automator to eg "trigger 1-2 probability"

it makes no difference - probability seems stuck on 100%

This is the case regardless of if I have the track set to trigger 1-8 or trigger 9-16

Note: "Row probability" however, does work. (Interestingly, 100% probability seems to happen when the automator level is at 50% - ie 5v (i think) - is that correct?)

It works well here. Are you using the stable release version?

Also, the 50% you get is correct as well.
The Automators are Bi-polar and everything higher the middle point is being added and everything below is being subtracted. If you have the probability set to 100% it can't add anything and will subtract from that once it is lower.
If you want to have the full range, set the probability to 50%.

I WORKED IT OUT!

It doesn't work if you're using Track 7 or 8 (which I was)

It works on track 1-6.

Any chance that could be fixed? It's great being able to assign expanders to these two tracks now, leaving 1-6 for the usual modular duties!

Ah yes. I see it. I knew that there are side-effects and much additional complexity with these extra tracks. But I'm on it and will be fixed for the next release.

AFAIC these extra tracks have increased the "size" of the NerdSEQ by 33% and I'm super happy with this extremely useful easter gift Smile
