Release Candidate Firmware V1.25 RC5

The bad:

The right arrow on the game pad does not seem to do anything.  I see the right button registering in the game pad settings so I know my pad is fine but in the editor it doesn't seem to work

After starting and stopping a sequence, it appears the screensaver will not come back on.  It was working for a while but over night I noticed it did not come on.

I can't reproduce the gamepad thing. It works as usual here. Also the screensaver turned on after playing as expected.
Are you sure the sequencer was stopped? And else, maybe one key was kind of hanging, which would always reset the screensaver timer but also avoids further keypresses.
Did you try to use the USB keyboard input before that? Or connect a cable while the power was on?

I'm back to give you more work, perhaps. Sorry again my dude Big Grin

I was creating a project (it was created in V1.25 RC4) that was to be my template for new projects (with loaded samples etc), but when I loaded it later on after working on another project it suddenly had an extra +2500 something in groove.

At around steps 12-15ish they seem to be faaaaaaar more maxed out than going to W. I reloaded and it persists. Sometimes when I reload I can see the groove box for these steps as empty, and then it turns into 6. If it stays empty I can move it down to 6.

This is not an actual issue for me, I can just create a new project, but I thought you might want to have a look at this weird behavior.

When I go to my other projects or create new project there is no such issue. I might have created this issue, but with the one or two empty patterns I have on there I don't see how I could have accidentally added +2500 groove to three steps.

I checked your project and actually there was no difference in the save file related to the patterns between RC4 and RC5.
But checking the content of your project I think that you created these wrong grooves in another way. I guess by some kind of copy/paste which ended up in the wrong spot? Can you possibly remember the steps in this project? I am sure it has been saved with the issue already.

I'm trying to think of what I could've done, but as far as I can remember I didn't mess with the groove on that project at all.

I did mess with the groove on a different project (where i have upwards of +400 groove on some patterns), so maybe I just did something weird with copy paste, but I have no idea how the groove box could be empty/set to 6 and it's on +2500 haha.

Unless I can actually recreate this I don't think it's an issue, I have no idea how to reproduce this and so it doesn't make sense for you to chase this unless you can follow those weird groove boxes I sent you to some kind of explanation.

Doesn’t have to be with the groove. In the file groove is swapped with the FX4 payload and because the pattern is solid for multiple steps I think it was kind of a copy paste action (maybe
from a former project?) And the FX payload is 255 by default if unused. This then a few times in the groove column and you get +2500 groove.

Let's chalk it up to my mistake somehow haha. No idea how I could've gotten there, but I have gone at it quite a bit so I probably messed up somewhere.

But you're saying copying an empty FX column and pasting it into groove turns the groove into value 255?

If it happens again somehow I'll try to pin down what actions led me there. Thanks!

I just guess that it was a paste action....But something like this happened and of course shouldn't happen. Not your mistake of course. But If I can't reproduce it then it's difficult to find and solve the problem. In the end it will turn up again maybe.

Tiny issue that might be my fault, but since I'm using RC5:

I set auto-trigs to ON in the menu, now even with them set to OFF I get auto-filled trigs.

Setting it ON is the same as having it OFF, no matter what I do I get a 40ms trig on a new note.

If this is a behavior stemming from some different option feel free to ignore this.

The Menu option is 'Auto Fill In Trigger'

I guess you change 'Auto Gate on Note'?
