Additional transpose offsets
#1
Giving transpose via IN1-IN4 another go I've come to miss 2 additional transpose settings:
1) The "Transposition Center" (the value at which no transposition occurs) of IN1-IN4 is at 5V which corresponds to C-5. I would like to be able to change that center to e.g. C-3. This could be implemented by explicitly saying "C-3" of by providing an offset of in this case "-24.
2) I'd like to have a per track transposition offset similar to the pattern transpose offset.

Last not least all transposition computation should be done with "extended precision", i.e. any clipping below C-0 and above C-A should only be applied to the final result. Inbetween values below C-0 and above C-A should be correctly dealt with. Not sure this isn't the case anyway Smile

Kind regards,
Michael

Nice suggestions, Michael, especially #2.

I generally handle the track-specific portions of #2 in Sinfonion but a) it’d be nice to do it right there in the sequencer closest to my hands and b) it’d of course be great for the many folks not able/wanting to do so downstream.

(The track and pattern transpositions would be combined, rather than one overriding the other, of course. I’m sure that’s what you meant, but figured I might call it out explicitly just to be safe.)
