Mark + Delete = Cut
#1
Wouldn't it be handy if Mark + Delete would also put the content in the copy buffer? Like 'Cut' instead of 'Delete' in general computer terms? It's now rather cumbersome to move stuff around: first Mark + Mark to put stuff in the copy buffer, the Mark again + Delete to delete it. It would be great if those two could be merged in one...

Or is there another way to cut/paste I'm not aware of?

I guess that should be easily possible but I got to see if there are any side effects. So far I don't see any.

Another thumbs up for this possibility.

Shift + Delete / Shift + Copy

is two button steps less than:

Shift+Mark x 2 / Shift+Delete x 1 / Shift+Copy

"Cut + Paste" basically. Would be great!
