According to the manual, we should be able to delete data while recording, by holding down TABLE. This should remove events as then pass by. This doesn't seem to work for me: I'm recording with a MIDI keyboard on a Modular track. Also verified on a MIDI track. Did I misunderstand this functionality?
Here's a video:

It should delete.
So this track is currently playing the pattern you are in and also selected for recording?

Can you check if it does delete if you set it to the track record that you are recording?
Also, please add the project or send it to me so I can check if they are maybe other settings in the way.
I recently did the delete thing so I know it does work. But I rarely use the track select rec, so this could be the issue.

I just checked it and I confirm the bug when using the Track Select Rec.
It works fine with regular track record definition.
The issue will be fixed with the next version.
Thanks for the report!

OK. I was just about to test it... thanks for confirming!
It would be great to have an option to really quickly clear the pattern too. It's a bit annoying to have to wait a whole round. Don't know, something like double-tap TABLE?

True that! So, double-delete them? There is always undo…

Aha! Didn’t know about the mark all combo. That should indeed be enough
