Is there a way to stop a whole row after all patterns have finished playing?

Is there a way to stop a whole row after all patterns have finished playing? or least stop the row in a "quantized" fashion, rather than immediately?

Sorry if this is a silly question... I just got a NerdSEQ and am a total newbie at it.

On the sequencer screen you can stop patterns one by one while they run until finished.
This can be done also in the sequence using the SPFX commands.

Another option would be to create a stop pattern ** which you set to start next. If you make a whole row with it and start this whole row, then the patterns stop after they are ready.

It would be nice to have a key command to tell all patterns on a row to stop when the longest finishes playing rather than having to stop patterns one by one. I am thinking of the way Ableton scenes can be launched and stopped. Certainly creating a row full with stop patterns ** can work, but I was thinking of a key command to do that instead.

I don’t know what ableton does, but there will be for sure no key combination.
If you want like all patterns to stop (as in sequencer stop) when one finishes then you might just add the stop command in that pattern last step.

I usually have an “island” of ** for all tracks that I can “start” to stop everything. Often I create multiple islands with different sets of stops. It works well and is very easy to “perform”

I just realized that, when using the "row full of **" trick, the MIDI out does not send stop. The NerdSEQ is playing some tracks using voices in my eurorack modular case, but some others using Bitwig (which I use for extra voices and also as mixer/fx rack) which is receiving clock from the NerdSEQ.

I would really like to find a way to stop a whole "island/row" (including clock MIDI out) in a performative way, in sync with the live queuepoints.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

SPFX -> Stop song.

Put that as either last of the last pattern or as first in the ‚stop‘ pattern.
I actually assumed you wanted the sequencer to keep running.
