CV Input and Audio 7&8
#1
Hello,
I don't know if it's a bug, so i prefer post this tread here. Huh

So, i want to trigger the sample 1 and Sample 2 (Audio 7) and Sample 1 (Audio 8) with the t section of the marbles.
I put the t1, t2, t3 (3 random triggers from marbles) in cv input 1,2,3.
In Input /record Setup I set the 'input Live 1' to "Audio 7 trig", "Input Live 2" to "Audio 8 trig", and it's work, but i want to trigger the sample 2 (Audio 7 or audio 8) and i can't.
In the manual, i can read p103 :
"Audio 7..8 Gate / Trigger → Plays the last set/used sample on Track 7..8 if the gate is set or if set on trigger, triggers the sample. "
So it seems impossible to trigger 2 sample from Cv imput from just one audio out (7 or 8)

True? if yes, another possibility? If not, can i have more details?

Thanks  Tongue
Olivier

PS : Thanks a lot Thomas for this amazing tracker! i make such lot of (weird) music  Smile

Hey Olivier,

indeed. For now only 1 sample can be played per audio output though the CV-Inputs. What you could do is switch between samples, you can use on CV input to select one sampleslot which should be played then.
Of course it is theoretically possible to play 2 samples, I only need to implement another selection, but I don't really think this would be too interresting for more people. They are plenty good sample players around which can do this job much better.

Cheers
