Instant Save
#1
Top1 on my wishlist is instant save. I mean saving the current project without interrupt the running sequence.

That is indeed something that I miss too.

I kind of like the burst of notes when it finishes saving, but yes, doing it in the background can be very useful too ;-)

I actually don't know if this is possible without noticing.
And there could be an issue when using the 'load sampleblock' function since then 2 handles would access the SD card which is not supported.
And is it really that important that it keeps running? (Asking for a friend :-) )

I think it would be "nice to have" ™

However for me the NerdSEQ is rock solid. It never crashed on me once. When I save before switching off I don't care about the stop in playback. Otherwise when I save it usually is after I've made a bunch of changes. At that point being forced to have a mental break I actually consider a good thing.

So definitely "nice to have" but I'd rather have syncable LFOs, delayed LFOs or LFOs with Amplitude gliding in (to name the feature I'm missing the most today - will be another one tomorrow Smile )

In other words: IMO rather low on the list of priorities.

Why not just have a simple button/pad solution which equals save the present state - meaning you could do it at any time without leaving the screen you're on. Example: Shift+Down+Left+Right (I assume that's not a used command?)

There will be no instant save without stopping the sequencer and basically I am not a friend of weird shortcuts. The main thing works well with very few shortcuts and I want to keep it that way.
