Would it be possible to add an option to revert the envelope reset behavior to the previous one?

To give a bit of context:

I am still struggling with integrating the more-cv expander into my setup (I created a thread on this topic a few weeks ago).

The ultimate goal I would like to achieve is to have something like the note column of the default track with the option to control the CV values of the expander. In particular I am interested in getting the gating behavior when sequencing multiple consecutive notes. I want to control assimil8or (sampler) with it, and the re-triggers are important to have assimil8or pick up changes to the sample slot or the sample start position.

With the old envelope behavior I was able to achieve this since the voltage dropped to zero for a brief amount of time with the correct envelope settings when triggering the envelope.

The most favorable solution for me would be if I could set one of the columns in the expander to be exactly the note column of the original track, then controlling both the cv and gate the same way as without the expander.

Nice update.
And I'm really loving that the More Triggers remember the last used screen page again.
But... I would love if the CV16 remembered the page too, for example if wanting to change patches (or the hopefully coming tables) one by one on multiple patterns.

That is a thing. It was a bug and that is fixed. The envelopes behave now as regular envelopes behave.

Are you using the envelopes as a kind of a gate then? You can now create your own triggers/gates with the CV16 expander which would then also reset the gate before starting the new one (if the trigger you create is shorter than your step).

I will check that it can return at least to the last used page.

I would not necessarily call it a bug, it's a decision on behavior. For example analog4 has the explicit choice on envelope retrigger behavior.

With the newly added trigger controls: Would it be possible to mirror the auto-gate behavior of the cv tracks there? That would be the optimal solution for me I think.

That is my favourite one 'It's a feature, not a bug' , hahaha Big Grin
There is one addition that is coming in the next RC to get the old behaviour additionally back. The envelope restart stays now how it is in V1.2 but additionally the reset function <x5 (which was only for the LFO before) will do the trick and resets the envelope, starting the attack from 0 again. So you can choose between both of them once the envelope is started.

A autogate function is more tricky since one would need a setting for each note column that defines which is the corresponding 'gate' + the type etc. Not even mentioned that then also a timeout would be needed. And a note-off of course and there is no space for that. I didn't plan this and I don't give it any chance to be implemented sometime in the future (as far as I can see it whats still planned).

OH, AWESOME!!!! I must have missed this post by just a few hours last week when I was looking at the forum!  Big Grin  Gonna test this out in the next couple of days. I've been eagerly waiting for this!! I can probably now retire my Voltage Block for "patch storage" and now just use the CV16 modules for that.

Update RC3:
- updated Project and Setup screen to get the same scrolling like the FX selector. Added Page Up/Down Functionality
- fixed possible 'stuck in screensaver' situation when doing a NSA Firmware update
- cursor returning now to the last field in the pattern screen if the last used one was of the same track-type
- fixed midi recording which recorded multiple note-off in mono mode (Internal CV/Gate track), last released key fills in the note off
- A Note Off in a CV/Gate track works now again with and without autogate enabled.
- CV16 Track-> The modulator Reset function works also with envelopes to reset it (instead of continuing the attack from the current level on restart)
* Firmware file for the CV16 is also updated for this! So if you updated to V1.2, do the update again with the new file.
- fixed issue when using Trigger16/CV16 on tracks 7+8 and using the Reset FX functions
- added entering the random ranges screen from the trigger delay random settings using OK
- changed rolling backup window to 10 deep

Tested this and it is working well. Thank you!
