Woohoo. CV16 turns into the perfect drum sequencer now with the amplitude to Nord Drum Trigger16 can now be used for switches and clocking (once tables get added to it )

I just received my new Brymen 869s multimeter and would like to check on the calibration of my CV16 expander.
How is the calibration supposed to work? My current guess is this: 1) Assign the expander to a track 2) Assign a CV out to one of the 6 lanes (switch range to the right for 0V - 10V) 3) Set the 4-digit hex value on the track until the multimeter shows 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 volt and write down the respective hex values 4) repeat 2) and 3) for all 16 CV outs 5) In track setup update the 11 values for each of the 16 CV out according the values noted in 3) above. Is that's how it is supposed to work? Kind regards, Michael

(Or calibrate with bipolar in mind) You assign a CV16 track. Then you go to the CV16 track setup. Far below in the menu you find the calibration settings. Get them first. Then choose the CV1 -> 0V value, change until you measure the closest to 0 Volt, do the same with 10 Volt. Then press SHIFT+OK, the voltages 1 to 9 volt will be filled in interpolated. Then go to the 9 volt, change the value again until it is closest to 9 volt...down to 1 volt. And the next CV output. The Expander is saving the values automatically once it is more than 10 seconds idle.

That does indeed make a lot more sense anyway I'll give that a go later tonight. At quick first test on my first CV16 has resulted in 0V being quite accurate and 10V reading 9.849V on the meter. The calibration value was somewhere at 39xx and when I increased that the voltage reading on the meter stayed at 9.849V. Reducing the calibration number also reduced the meter reading. I will look into that more thoroughly tonight. Is there a way to increase the upper limit of the voltage e.g. by fiddling with a trim pot? Best wishes, Michael

Yes. Set the 0 volt of CV1 to the value 10 and then change the trimpot to be 0 / -5 volt. This is only needed for CV1. The 10 volt range should now reach to higher than 10 volt. If not then your expander got an issue. Usually you don’t have to touch the trimpot after factory calibration.

Update RC6:
- fixed patch pre-listen. OK for current effect and SHIFT+OK for the whole patch (if possible) - removed SHIFT+OK prelisten from drummatrix as it interfered with the euclidean and shifting functions - added Midi Program Change pre-listen - updated Combined Playback FX commands ( old Clock change SCLK -> CBPB) to the following possibilities: 0XX Clock Change (Divider/Multiplier) 1XX Clock Change (Divider/Multiplier) now 2XX Playback Order 3XX Playback Order now 4XX Transpose Track 5XX Global Transpose 6XX Swing Settings 7XX Track Jump to sequencer row ( same as OK on sequencer screen when edit is OFF) 8XX All Tracks jump to sequencer row Files in the first post are updated. So hurry up with your test sessions. I plan the release sometime next week.
