with the new features to be able to send a gate out on a cv16 channel were limited to only 3 channel polyphony. It would be nice if the there was an option for the cv16 channel to work similar to the midi and have 4 cv outs along with 4 gates to allow for 4 channel polyphony with things like the doepfer quad modules.

While this would be theoretically possible, It is not possible to add this functions into the 6 available columns. You could have 2 more outputs of course when using 2 FX columns to get 4 CV + 4 Trig/Gates. But that can't be recorded or played live from midi. But it can be sequenced.
