USB Keyboard recording

I know you can play live with usb keyboard, but could you also record it? I tried few options, but came to conclusion that you can only record via CV or MIDI?

I'm so used playing with "keyboard keyboard", sometimes it would be faster to just hit record and tap the notes down in time. 

Or even enable USB keyboard playing to act as virtual midi device so you could achieve everything you can do with regular midi keyboard sans velocity?

Using a USB midi keyboard is not possible with this one. The speed to provide full midi is just too slow in this case, good enough for a Keyboard though.

But sure, a record mode just like the midi recording would be a possibility with the keyboard input. Not for the upcoming release though.
