I though I might record some notes from one track into another track to capture some of the semi random melodies i've been generating. I am able to record gates via cv input but not notes. Occasionally one note or two notes get recorded into the track but mostly nothing is being recorded. I wonder if it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.
I have a pattern on track one that i'm also sending via an automator slot and an envelope to the cv inputs configured live record to CV 3 and GATE 3.

Note: I moved this topic since it is a release candidate and it is not a crash situation (and most probably not a bug). Please post release candidate issues only in the release candidate (if you are sure the problem doesn't exist in the stable versions).
Did you check if:
- your inputs are calibrated well
- your setup on how you record as they are multiple options (CV only, CV Gate seperate, CV+Gate/Trigger combined (recommended))
- I assume you connected the 2 outputs of track 1 to the inputs you want to use to record?
- Pattern in track 3 is recording/playing when you record?

Sorry man I meant to post in the other thread. And of course you're right.. after calibrating my inputs (and outputs) it's working.
