Option to use note row like the mod row[DONE]
#1
Would it be possible to have an option to use the note row like a mod row, i.e. with a 12 bit value instead of a note value?

That way, non-standard scales could be recorded directly via the CV in to the note row or typed in directly, instead of having to use the mod row for that and losing the ability to send a separate mod value to something else.

You can already insert the 12 bit value also for the CV outputs. Just use the CV FX from the FX column for it or via the patches.

For CV in recording, this will be possible in the future.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

hello... is this possible vice versa? Eg using the mod collumn for note values? I tried using cv1 and the values to input seem to be Hex... otherwise can you reccomend a table somewhere with corresponding note and Hex values? If there isnt one I can try to work on figuring that out but it would be awesome if this could be done on the Nerdseq or if there was a table to help me out, thanks!

I got already a idea for this. If it works well then you can put also notes directly in the MOD column. But in one of the coming firmwares

Excellent! Thanks, I spent a ton of time this last week and weekend with Nerdseq and now I can clearly see how these alternative routing upgrade tremendously this already powerful sequencer. I can tell you now that in addition to the triggers expander I am anxiously awaiting this upcoming firmware!!!  Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
