Routing the external input 1-4 to expanders

Is there a way to do this? Specifically it would be awesome to be able to do some extra trigger inputs on the Trigger expander through the external inputs.

Ah, yes, of course.

I have an external sequencer that I want to use to introduce semi-random elements into my established nerdseq composing. My nerdseq is permanently hooked up to my Assimil8or. So what I want to do is send triggers (let's say) from my external sequencer through the NerdSeq and into the Assimil8or. This seems to work pretty easily if I want to use any of the "original" 6 CV/trigs out, but I can't figure out if I can route the incoming trigs to the More Triggers 16, so that - for instance - a trigger in Input 1 with send a trigger to More Triggers output 9 or whatever.

For that you would use the automators. Use one as CV input and a trigger output of the expander as destination. This should work well if the Triggers are not too short (and the settings are fine)
