Hello, Nerds!
Got something for you to ponder, and it doesn't seem to be a common thing; I have the Video I/O expander, which I run HDMI to a PC monitor, TV, or camera mounted monitor all capable of displaying 4k, and the NerdSEQ UI shows up brilliantly (tho very large
)
However, when I take that proven-functional More Video I/O HDMI into the Blackmagic ATEM Mini (the $295 model), and the ATEM HDMI Out to the same monitors above, but the More Video I/O does not appear to stream to the ATEM device. The ATEM device is of course working as well, because I have a camera hooked to HDMI In 1, and I can see my pretty face clearly. The NerdSEQ Clone --> is sent to HDMI In 2, and nada... black screen.
Here are the tech specs for the ATEM Mini Pro: I'm guessing this has something to do with the Input specs --
I have painstakingly walked through nearly every setting, from Scaling to Forced HDMI, to Boost, to Format... and nothing seems to send the signal through from Nerdy. I'm assuming it has something to do with the small output resolution it's trying to send to the ATEM HDMI In port (??)
That's the problem. Any thoughts on a solution? If it just can't do it, I suppose that's fine - I'll have to try another device. I'm kinda new to all this streaming business, so I am assuming I'm just doing something wrong.
Thanks in advance,
Jc (VMG)
PS: Not to blow smoke, but anyone who has seen my films knows, I absolutely *love* NerdSEQ, and my intention is to do some deep dives where I can display the screen fullscreen... thus this effort. If there are any other suggestions how to accomplish this feat, let me know.
