will that be possible later? i'd be so sad if not..

That is correct. Swing only for the Internal Clock or if the external clock got swing itself.

Thanks for the fast reply!! It's all good, found a max for live device that can send a "shuffled" clock!!

First of all, incredible update! Thank you

Would it be possible to add values such as transport control, record enable, or even the button controls like in the gamepad to the globals in the mapping matrix? Or perhaps something exists already that I’ve overlooked.

This update really opens the door for improvisation with external controllers for me, it makes my rack truly feel like a playable instrument

That all already happened…just not for you yet :-)

Awesome, Looking forward to it!

The way you've implemented this sounds more like track and hold? Sample and hold will keep the last sampled value until it receives another rising edge at the hold input. If you're passing through a value when the gate is not high, then that's a track and hold.

Both are useful!

@XORadmin, like everyone else is saying, thank you for fantastic work and a lovely vision for the nerd. A quick question that impacts some decisions i have to make: will the mapping matrix / programming allow for pitch bends? They have extra bits, obviously. I'd prefer having pitch bend, even without the LSB, to not (Max has an object like this). I guess another option would be visualizing only the MSB on the UI but having the LSB still be calculated and sent where appropriate?

Thanks!

Hello

I just tried to go back from the test version to 1.27C, loaded back in the old firmware and the screen keeps freezing at "load sequencer data, pattern date etc.
When i restart, same thing. I repeated the process, rewrote 1.28 test with 1.27C on my card and loaded again. Same thing happens.
Any ideas?

Yes it loads your project you made with V1.28.
That is not compatible.
Hold the shift button on startup and it won’t load the project. Load and save another project that you saved with 1.27c or turn off auto-load project.

Would it be possible to add the sequencer BPM to the mappings? I'd love to compute a CV from the BPM to re-pitch external samples and modulation oscillators according to the current tempo.
