I cut down some acrylic today and fit perfectly into the screen. I swear it brightens things up, just a bit.
If anyone wants to do the same 2mm acrylic will do the trick. Get a close measurement, score some lines and break the plastic into shape. I then sanded edges lightly, test fit, sand again and so on until a perfect fit.
