Hey there!
Seems Groove column is getting a lot of attention right now. I've also been working with some stuff in odd time signatures or changing values for triplets etc, and thought "gee, wouldn't it be really nice to have the total ticks for the current pattern displayed somewhere". It should probably display both the total for the groove column in the current pattern, and the target number to stay in time with standard patterns.
There's currently some unused screen realestate in the lower right of the pattern screen, and if somewhere it said (385/384) or something to remind me that I've overshot by one tick somewhere, it would be incredibly useful to me (instead of having to listen over and over to identify where I made a mistake, or worse do "math"
). Would be even nicer if it changed color (green means in sync, red means you'll drift). You're of course free to ignore it's advice, but it would make it very clear to the user.
Don't know what else you have planned for that area of the screen, but just a suggestion.
Thanks much,
F
