This is probably overkill, but I thought I'd try it since I have one--my 64GB SDXC card refuses to properly load on boot. I've tried reformatting it, using exFAT, FAT32, NTFS, etc and get the same failed to load error.

Maybe overkill.
I think most 1-16 or 32 GB cards should work well. 64GB is another cup of Tea. And thinking about how many samples you could put on the card... So definitely something i will never ever fix. This is as embedded as it can be

Roger Roger, so max MicroSd is 32gb! Question to extend this older thread.
What speed SD card do you reccomend? I'm seeing 80mb/s to 120/s I'm thinking of picking up an endurance card so the speed is on the slower side. XOR, have any thoughts on SD speed?

Ah well. I had also 64gb ones working. If the format is right. But since I didn’t test it really it can work well or can’t.
The speed is not really an issue since it uses only the slow SPI mode. All cards are surely faster than the possible read/write times.
