Question: is this considered final? Or Beta, RC, whatever non-final acronym?

Final. Release notes will be there later today.

Great news to make Monday not quite as sad, haha. Can't wait for my Multi IO expander to get here now.

Minor finding:
Upon installation of V2.00 the mapping page is neither empty nor does it have the content as of the previous V1.28 Beta1 installation.
Not a problem, I just wanted to mention it.

I got to add the disclaimer which I added to the V1.28 Beta version:

Quote:Also project files might not be compatible with the final V1.28 release, also saved projects are surely not downwards compatible to V1.27 or earlier..keep that in mind, too.

I didn't add an import from V1.28 versions. Only stable projects are supported.

What I did is making a photo of my mappings and inserted them again in my new project manually. I know it is not the perfect situation but the V1.28 Testversion was really only a little teaser to look into it.

I love the encoder, it adds a lot to the ergonomy! I would find very useful to be able to change the note using the encoder; and play it at the same time using the "ok" button. But it seems to trigger wider note jumps. Is it expected?

Thank you again for all you work Thomas, it's crazy how much you expanded the functionalities.

But I think that is what it does. When you hold OK then it trigger each time you turn the encoder (on the note column) in mode X. In Mode Y it triggers only on OK hit.

So it seems you can configure the i2c/multi expander even if you don’t own it, and then use the drum matrix with the old 2hp midi expander! Niiiiice!
