Still can't get it to work - I did the following

- loaded sample into sample slot 00
- designated sample slot 00 to slot 1 of track 7
- used variables to set pitch and volume
- MIDI channel 9 note to slot 1 note
- MIDI channel 9 gate to slot 1 gate

I can get the waveforms working this way oddly enough, but not the loaded sample.

Confirm that it doesn't work correctly. I fixed it already and the release is following shortly.

Using the above steps?

If it is working, do I need the variables to set initial pitch and volume?
